Therapy, Consultation and Clinical Supervision Services
As an LICSW with over a decade of experience working with clients of all ages who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance use, etc, I create a space to facilitate self-compassion and acceptance. It is only when we can fully see and accept ourselves that we can create space for transformation and connect with our own resiliency.
My practice is rooted in the belief that the body and mind are connected, and these connections are influenced by our relationships with others and the larger systems within which we live. Thus, my approach is heavily grounded in neurobiology, attachment and systems theory, intersectionality, and I have been trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, and Trauma Informed Stabilization Therapy (TIST) and informed by IFS, mindfulness, and CBT.
I see my role as a guide on my client’s journey, creating a safe space so that their natural strength and resilience can be rediscovered on their path to healing. My style is warm, empathic and committed to collaboration with whomever I am working with so clients can create positive changes in their lives outside of our sessions.
When providing clinical supervision, I want to create a space that is conducive to learning and hold supervision sessions that are collaborative and individualized to accommodate different learning styles and interests. I am a former faculty member at both Harvard Medical School and The School of Social Work at Boston University.
